Tell yourself the truth always. The worst form of deceit is self deceit. I ran into someone the other day who confessed to me that he stopped going to church because the same things he asked for forgiveness did he go back doing. A friend advised him not to mind the fact that he went back to his wrong doings but continue having the heart to go back to church and ask for forgiveness, someone else told him to actually stop doing the things he said he did not want to do. He told him to know he had evil in him and never allow the evil to show itself. He advised him to always wait the bad act to want to show up and always be on the guide to never allowing it to happen.
As a human being we know those things we don't want to do but we find ourselves doing them. It is no one's fault but our own. No evil spirit is behind it apart from that which we allowed to weaken our defence and let ourselves go back to our vomits. The evil that men do, lives in them. It is in you to do that thing and its only in you to do it or not. Learn to battle the evil in you. Kill them and don't let them see the light or darkness of life. Tell yourself you do not want to do those things and never sell out on yourself and your believes.
