My last wish On My Dying Bed

The day I was born, I cannot remember.
History has it that it was on the 11th day of september.
Some of the days I grew up, still remain as clips of a video in my head.
I wish I could bring them all back and do what I really want with them in my head.
Many days come and go... Many men come and go...
I am now a little aware of what is happening around me
So much more to understand why it is difficult for everyone around me,
To give life the meaning I expect from them..
Anytime I wonder what life has become, I doubt I could really want to make someone else to really come.
A world that no one can fully explain to my satisfaction,
Yet we all are striving for something we have tagged satisfaction.
With unlimited wants and scarce resources, my thoughts are my only true resources.
Life is Good, death is much better and knowing this is best....
I could end my life... Since life is vanity upon vanity...
Somehow they say that's not the best...
So this entity is not really done, until I can cause mutiny.
The government has Guns, everyday one soul is on the Run....
The pastor preaching heaven and fun... Yet we all are just used as a pawn..
No peace in this part of the universe... I wish I find peace from writing this verse...
Can wishes be horses, so that everyone can ride?
Am sure i am sounding like someone who is on a ride...
The reason why there is no eternal life with the life we see now....
The reason why there would be a time a nigga wouldn't know how.....
life is a movie, and my director yell cut?
Even with all the money, a life that is done, would be caught..
Seating on my thoughts and thinking, one day I would be dead....
Even those that love me, would still find away to eat bread....
I should recite the apostle's creed, but am the beginning of a new breed.....
Blame it on my greed, experience and exposure has said what life can be....
Read this news feed, my experience and composure is ready for what death could be..
Heaven or hell? A nigga cannot tell....
Life or death? A nigga gotta yell and be well...
I am aware I can be what I could be.....
I am aware what I make of life, is what life could be.....
Am just not sure, earth is a safe place to keep under existence.....
Left to my ambition, I would end the human race, fuck their existence...
It pays nothing to live under pretence...
Hope and faith just to put your life in another sentence..
Life is a dream I wish...... But this is all real.....
We all have pain as a feel..... I bet you hate this feel....
I love life.... I hate pain..... No pain... No Gain..... What is the gain? When everything is vanity upon vanity.....
When am gone.... Tell them I fought for value of the title called Life*
If we must live... Let's live and let live....
Else, it is high time we all died and had a rest of mind.....
That's only if the mind could then be laid to rest.....
Am sorry I speak in this kind, am just telling you what my soul has to find....
A means of portraying my ambition even if I don't survive my mission....

ThrowBack: Open letter to christians

Dear Christians,
It is a season of letters as communications have got to be made. The missionaries sent a lot of messages to get us the new testament. I am a christian fellow christians. By status quo of the religion we find ourselves born in, most times, we start calling ourselves christians. By virtue of other occasions, it becomes a way of life that is treasured in accordance to following the teachings of jesus christ. In the variety of it all, it gets so announced that we are christians, whenever we are under the influence of the religion umbrella, or the way of life indicator.
I need not ask you, why you think you are a christian, All I need to do, is tell you, why you are a christian, before you find out, it is indeed the main reason you are indeed a christian. The holy book is a guideline for life. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God. Christ is the son Of God that fulfils john 3 vs 16 and we all want eternal life. I get the impression, who does not want to be with the winning team? The maytr* who would die for a new course? We all need to embrace dignity and purity in the best way we can exhibit, happens to be our thoughts I assume. In the quest to keep ourselves ready for a happy eternal eternity we tend to want to show case purity. I like the feeling, I like the schematic, but it feels static. I had to become CoperatestreetBoy* I could not Discredit anyone. I could not elevate anyone. Nobody knew anyone, I never knew anyone. I only knew someone. And that person was me, sometimes I didn't even know him. I needed to stay near him. So I chose reality over technicality.
I could not help but be amazed when a man of God said christianity was not a religion. It is true it is a way of life, it is true it is acclaimed to be the only way of life that connects humans to God. It is true the number of christians in the world reach well over 2 billion. It is true that christians are the ones to make heaven, especially the ones who are born anew. It is true that christianity is the mission to make you see the vision of the mission that God's vision has for you on earth. It is true that christianity is a canopy to place one's self close to God. It is true that, I have heard that, all these things are true about christianity being the only true mission, that can really be said to be true. It is true however that nothing but a truth that has not been false in the minds that say it is true makes christianity true.
I can know that christianity is the faith I should export as they import me here before the entreport* of returning me to those who supplied me, but I cannot not say that in truth, I think every other person here must be a christian before a good possibility of an eternal eternity is guaranteed. I love the ways of christ. I love the teachings of the bible, but, the feel and idea of culture ethnocentrisim* taking over humans has made me know that christians should not feel they got the password alone. I think we are not the only people who would be guaranteed this paradise we claim, any other person could get it because nobody knows nobody.
Think it deeply. You don't swallow everything hook, line and sinker. Be a thinker. More or less a free thinker for that matter. Think outside the box, think within the box, think without a box. Unite your vision. Accomplish Your mission. Tell your story, make history. Do your thing. Forget what they said you must do, think about what you really want to do. Remember what they said you must do, indicate what you want to do. As a christian, then you can understand that it takes a lot for every man to stand so people began to take stands. Think how you want to stand then take your own stand.
Happy sunday my fellow christians. God Bless

Just Do what is Right...

What would be, has to be.. No one really knows how to cheat nature successfully....
To be what you want to be, you have to learn to nurture yourself gradually
Identify what is right and do it....
Keep yourself clean and ready to do what is expected of you...
Leave what you would regret, abide in what you would be proud of.
Remember that the actions of today would affect the reactions of tomorrow
So do what complications would find away of being in omissions
As the water always remains in the oceans, so shall the truth always abide in your deeds.
The right people do the right things which are right for the society
While the wrong people are reasons why the kingdom suffers from evil
Don't be used by the devil to affect one's life with evil
Be passionate and affectionate in all that you do, knowing that the kingdom rewards ......

It is evident, we all wouldn't be Rich even if we try to reach..

In drake's words, "am just telling you the basics of growing up with your friends, and being the only one that made it" it is evident that not all the young boys and girls of our generation would make that amount of money we treasure or that fantastic formation of a family tree that every young girl or boy knows how to fantasize about.
My circle and I are always going to have a meeting even if it was scheduled or not, we must find a way of sitting on a round table as we table thoughts and make them discussions.. We all want money... Central bank of Nigeria produces the notes in a large quantity before delegation and operation can make a couple of the notes end up in some pockets.....
I was seeing a movie when I heard something that sounded like, there was a difference between working for earning a living and working for the idea of being rich... I didn't want to just earn a living... I wanted to be rich... I wanted to reach.... I wanted to teach people to make money something that was going to make them bleach as life was not fair...
Life is dark.... No one cares.... The government tells us things like they don't have money to fund this or that... And am like, who prints this money? Isn't it the government? Or is there another government aside the government we know? I just know that the balance sheets of some are getting favourable while some others are more unfavourable as the day goes through....
I have always tried to be optimistic about the vision that I could be rich in millions at 30.... But I can be realistic by saying 40.... And if someone could be pessimistic... It could be 50,.... One thing is certain, anyone without money now, cannot say when exactly the person would make money......
We all want to be Rich.... But many would not reach....... Try to teach and preach or be a witch and bleach!!! Just make money!!!

Give more time to your holy book

When I was young, due to so many natural consequences, I became a boy who just did not like doing whatever everyone felt was the right thing.. In a nutshell, I grew up to be a lover of the opposition...
I just loved doing things in the opposite direction, I did not like the feel that came from people, who felt they got the right, to direct me towards a direction that they felt was right... It was not too hard before I was tagged Rebellious.....
I grew up with a more distinct mind pointed at doing only the things that I cared about.. That's the only thing I was about, doing the things that i feel was the one that could make them talk about.. If everyone at home was going to support the police for killing the thief, I was going to say the thief had to be supported because no one knew what made him steal...
I did not feel comfortable following the masses, for everytime that I went through such lapses, my spirit of rebellion grew, my mind and its thoughts flew away from the universe, I got to make sure I had contact with just more than humanity.... I wanted to go beyond the physical and spiritual... There had to be more to it....... I started reading the bible and other spiritual books.... I wanted more information... Oliver twist didn't want more than I did..... I am still in search of more* you should too....
Today, I need humans to face their spirits, connect your world and the world and make a fact for yourself... Read your bible today! Read your spiritual book always... You only live once, you only die once.... It cannot end with death, neither can it end with... Hell or heaven... Study more!!!

What is The price of life!!!

The price of anything can be referred to as the cost of that thing. The price of passing an examination lies somewhere around preparing effectively for the examinations. The price of a litre of fuel involves letting go of over a 100 Naira..... That which must be done before something else evolves has a lot to do with price....
We are in a world where price must be paid.... Services and goods have a certain price tag charged upon them for a possible exploitation of their values... To get the value of something, you pay the price.... The price to pay to write the jamb examinations coming soon, might have to start with paying for the registration process of the entrance before even being eligible to sit for the examinations...
What is the price of life? What must one do to be alive? The price of life is to settle death, make sure you are not dead if you want to be alive.... If you owe death, you would lose your life!!! Settle death, so you can have your life....pay the price!!!

Peace unto Every Soul

The beginning was said to Be Eden, Thus the beginning was not Hidden.
The Book of life is so good for reading
Doesn't Mean everyone who reads is good ridden
Take delight unto the world and be good
Make Goodness and fairness your thought for food
For the best is not always what happens
So some moments gotta happen like it happens
Even when the days are cruel, it takes a lot to be kind
Everyone needs to find a way to be of this kind,
Loyal and forgiving to every soul on this planet$
I see life, it is not happening like I planned it.
Getting rid of the doubt and pain we would grow in this forest
That I am the me, I can be, so peace unto my soul's dearest.
To everyone that died, if there is a place I would be there.
For everyone soul needs the peace that is not here.

One reason You need christ in your life

One thing about life is the certain fact that it is full of uncertainties which are not yet know by man. I always tell myself that man is always fond of discovering something that was, before they met it, then they tag it new. It just nothing but discovery and not creation. The power that IS did creation.
A one certain way that has been predicted to be the sure bet and higher probability of having a better life after the present life is to presently live a life in christ.
I take it to be a responsibility that everyone is going to be accountable of. Put it as a point of importance to always live life like christ taught.
A life in christ is a life indeed. Be wise do the good deed.

Advise to this generation

Life is not what you think it is.
Life is not what they said it is.
Life is not what you make of it.
Life is not what it can be.
Life is not what anyone can explain
Life is not what is not false.
Life is a game play along. Tag along, grow along, then finally die along.
You can assure yourself of what else you think. We cannot explain much. We can only explain a faction, a figment of imagination. Life is what we see. What we hear, what we understand, what we witness, what we possess and all that goes with it, but life is not just life. Life is something more or less.
I know the painted picture of doctrines of religion and study of science, the human entity is doing nothing but what has been done. What life can really be all about in whole is something that has not been fully done.
Think of it today. What really is life? Make a definition for yourself.

Pray without season.

Many things are happening in the world if you take a close look at the media messages which are being transmitted through effective cables and mediums. It is very noticeable how violence is becoming a trend in every nook and corner of the earth surface.
It would not be said to be a thing of the new age because the stories of the bible still records a lot of wars and revolutions which left a lot of people dead. It is a world of evil thoughts and actions, it takes a lot of mercy to be saved. Pray that your soul is saved. Pray for the grace to be put on the right pace which is necessary for you to complete your own race within the expected time space.
It is going to be awful when the future projects us on a point where we find no balance. Studying management sciences today, I can boldly say it is going to be deadly if we do not all have favourable balance sheets with good high arithmetic figures. We cannot tell where yesterday went, we do not know where today is going neither can we tell how tomorrow would be coming. All we can do is watch and pray. Give your soul time to speak good on behalf on your body. Learn to pray without seasons.

Learn To Love God

Happy sunday my CSB Blog readers. It is another blissful morning as those that are alive still have to make very good use of the time they have here on earth. It is obvious that humans can only but do discovery about things, while the creation of those things must still be accrued to nature and its mysteries.
It is obedient of man to follow the laws, even more importantly, if the laws be from God. If I perish, I perish is a verse from the holy book. I don't think anyone really wants to perish. The love of God keeps us safe from the life after life and also gives us more life in the life that is life.
The human mind is selfish by nature, God's love is selfless in nature. Learn to be a part of the love of God, through the love of God, we love those that we think we cannot love and do things unconditionally for them. The real love which can be practised in reality is the love of God. Find God's love.

Healthy feeding

It is not very good for one to just feed but it is very important that the person really does feed right. When one eats but seems not to be getting the exact glorified rewards that come with feeding, expect to understand that the person is not feeding right. The person is not feeding in a healthy way. This can easily make us understand that there are possible tendencies where people feed in an unhealthy manner. Healthy feeding is the right way to feed, so people need to be enlightened broadly about the necessity to make sure that our feeding process is done according to healthy techniques.
Healthy feeding means consuming the right quantity and quality of food from different classes of food and groups of food too. The ability to have a proportional rationing of the six classes of food when trying to embark on an eating process can be seen as healthy feeding which can also go a long way to guarantee a life that is healthy. Healthy feeding produces a healthy living.
Healthy feeding means taking all the nutrients that the body system requires in the manner that the body really needs. Healthy feeding when learnt becomes a nutritional life style that promotes good health, happiness and satisfaction in the human life. The six basic classes of food include carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, fats and oil, mineral salts and water.
Expressing healthy feeding as the ability to combine these six classes of food effectively means that healthy feeding involves taking balanced diets and applying healthy tips which include resting, exercising and constant health check ups just to make sure that life is lived in the healthy way. Good intake of fruits and vegetables keeps the body healthy as good water keeps the body regulated in collaboration with the help of fats and oil. Proteins repairs dead body tissues as carbohydrates gives the body energy. So in conclusion, it is necessary to have good proportions of the essential classes of food to live a healthy life.

NEWS From TRACE MAGAZINE

11th March 2014, Tuesday.
As TRACE MAGAZINE continues to make sure that news happening around the world continues to be something that coperatestreeboy* blog readers can have access to, Correspondents from TRACE MAGAZINE have the following headlines for us.

ARSENAL would MAKE A COME BACK against BAYERN - wenger

Arsenal will need to summon a repeat of their last trip to Bayern Munich to stand a chance of UEFA Champions League progression on Tuesday, Goal reports.

Arsene Wenger's men are 2-0 down from the first leg of their last-16 tie, but will take confidence from their last visit to the Allianz Arena at this stage last year when they won 2-0, only to be eliminated on the away-goals rule.

Toni Kroos and Thomas Muller netted for the Bundesliga outfit at the Emirates Stadium after both sides had missed first-half penalties, while Arsenal saw Wojciech Szczesny red carded.

However, if Arsenal can match the result of last March, they will at least take the tie to extra time.

"The statistics go against us at Bayern but let's make sure the performance goes for us, then we have a chance," Wenger said.

Winning in Munich is no mean feat – the runaway Bundesliga leaders have not lost at home domestically since October 2012.

However, a home defeat to Manchester City in the group stages of this season's competition goes to show that Bayern are not unbeatable on home soil, particularly when it comes to English clubs.

Xherdan Shaqiri, Thomas Muller and Franck Ribery all returned from injury to fire Bayern to a 6-1 thrashing of Wolfsburg in the German top flight on Saturday, and will undoubtedly be a huge boost to their chances of making it to the quarter-finals on Tuesday.

Arsenal will be without the suspended Szczesny, while Jack Wilshere is sidelined for around six weeks after picking up a foot injury in England's friendly victory over Denmark at Wembley on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Bayern manager Pep Guardiola insists his team must go in search of victory against Arsena.

"If we let Arsenal keep the ball, we will have a lot of problems," Guardiola told reporters.

"They have a lot of quality, every single player has unbelievable technical skills with the ball. They have players like (Santi) Cazorla, (Mesut) Ozil, (Tomas) Rosicky and (Mikel) Arteta – it is no problem for them.

I TRIED TO TRACE MISSING 20 Billion Dollars - SANUSI

The suspended Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria, Mallam Lamido Sanusi, said he had begun a process to trace the missing $20bn oil money before his suspension by President Goodluck Jonathan.

Sanusi, in an interview published in New York Times on Monday, said he had a semi-monthly meeting with bank chiefs on February 11, where he "threatened to open the books of the bankers, to trace the money."

According to him, he suspected some were laundering stolen oil money.

"Some of them were not giving information about their accounts," Sanusi stated, adding, "I told them I would order a special examination."

According to the New York Times' report, one of the bankers at the meeting said, "He (Sanusi) made it clear to them that the CBN would need to unravel what was going on, and they should cooperate."

Panicked, several of the bankers went straight to the government, Sanusi said.

Two of the bankers — he would not identify them — "went and reported to the petroleum minister," the suspended CBN chief added.

"The strategy of the government was to discredit the messenger," he said.

Sanusi added, The President "doesn't want me to bring out any more information that would get them into trouble."

However, President's spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati, said Sanusi's account was "untrue."

"Sanusi has been making all kinds of claims to project himself as a victim," Abati, said in an email, accusing the suspended central bank chief of "financial recklessness, abuse of mandate, incompetence and criminal acts of negligence."

[Mother sells three-day-old baby for N260,000]

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested a nursing mother, Imaobong Udoh, for allegedly selling her three-day old baby girl.

Also arrested along with Imaobong were four persons for allegedly participating in the theft of the baby.

They are the buyer, Mrs. Regina James; her husband, Mfon James; the traditional birth attendant who delivered the baby, Mrs. Comfort Henry; and Mr Emmanuel Okon, a homeopathic doctor, who arranged the sale.

Commissioner of Police, Mr. Umar Gwadabe, said in Uyo on Monday that the father of the baby had reported the theft to the police, leading to the arrest of the suspects.

Gwadabe said, "On March 3, 2014, a case of child stealing was reported by Mr. Eteobong James, of No. 33 Urua Ekpa Road, Itu Local Governmnet Area, to the police, where a three-day-old baby girl was sold for N260, 000.

"Based on the report, the suspects were arrested.

"Mr Emmanuel Etim Okon, was the one that arranged the infamous deal and personally conveyed the baby from the point of delivery at Nna-Enin in Uruan Local Government Area to the buyers at No. 37 Church Road, Uyo."

The police boss explained that Regina allegedly paid N150,000 to the mother of the baby and N110,000 to Okon, the homeopathic doctor, for his services.

The commissioner stated that the accused would soon be arraigned in court and warned child thieves to steer clear of the state.

He explained that the state would not be conducive for their illicit trade.

He said, "l am a trader. My wife, Regina, told me she was pregnant and I gave her money for ante-natal. One day, she told me she was in labour and later informed me that she had been delivered of a baby girl.

"I did not know she bought the baby since she has given birth to four children, though three died."

However, the homeopathic doctor said Regina brought the mother of the baby, Imaobong, to him so that he could take care of her during ante-natal.

He said Regina had explained to him that the father of the baby was not financially buoyant to take care of her.

He denied collecting N110,000 from Regina, stating that he only collected N30,000, which was the cost of delivery of Imaobong's baby.

"When Regina brought Imaobong to me, she told me that the man responsible for the pregnancy was unable of take care of her.

YOBO MUST SHOW WORLD CUP HUNGER - Akpoborie

Ghana-Nigeria 2000 Africa Cup of Nations silver medallist Jonathan Akpoborie feels Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi made the right decision by inviting Joseph Yobo to the Super Eagles, but says the on-loan Norwich defender must not walk into the squad for the summer's World Cup in Brazil.

Akpoborie insists Yobo, who has not played for Nigeria since he helped the Eagles win the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa, must prove himself worthy of a place on Keshi's roster for the World Cup.

Yobo was invited for Wednesday's friendly game against Mexico in Atlanta, United States, but the former Everton player was ruled out of the encounter with injury sustained against Aston Villa in their Premier League clash on Sunday.

"Yobo's return to the Premier League (on-loan from Fenerbahce) is very good for his career and I'm happy with his decision," former Nigeria forward Akpoborie told our correspondent on the telephone during the week.

"Since he returned to the Premier League from the Turkish league, he has played very well – proving he still has a lot to offer.

"I'm also happy that Keshi has decided to give him a chance to come back to the national team.

"But Yobo must show he wants to play in the World Cup – he must show hunger for it (a World Cup place).

"He must show in the friendly games (ahead of the World Cup) that he's not finished yet as some people believe. He must prove he's good enough to be selected for the World Cup.

"His experience will help the Eagles in Brazil but he must fight his way into the World Cup squad."

The former VfL Wolfsburg star disagreed with Keshi over the 2013 CAF Coach of the Year award winner's decision to leave Villarreal forward Ikechukwu Uche out of his 23-man squad for the World Cup, saying "I don't understand why he doesn't want him (Uche)".

Keshi had accused the 30-year-old attacker of lacking respect for his teammates as well as ignoring instructions on the pitch.

HE BEAT ME WITH WIRE, UNTIL I COULD NOT SIT ANYMORE - EIGHT Year old Househelp.

It took a while to rouse eight-year-old Sophia Shaidu, as she lay on her stomach on a bed in the children's ward of the Aniyun Hospital, Gbagada, Lagos.

The nurse who had taken our correspondent in to see her was happy that the girl could at least fall asleep after days of excruciating pains that kept her awake.

"Some people are here to talk to you," she was told.

Sophia spoke only Ebira language. She does not understand English; not even pidgin English because her guardian did not enrol her in school after she was brought to Lagos to work as a housemaid about three years ago.

So, our correspondent was only able to speak to her through an interpreter.

One thing was immediately clear when Sophia finally sat up with a considerable pain: dark marks dotted her body from her neck to her ankle.

She hung her left arm awkwardly, which made her flinch at the nurse's touch.

"We are planning to do an X-ray on the arm. It's likely she has a fracture there," the nurse said.

"The marks on my body are from beatings," the girl later explained.

Sophia said that after one of such beatings, she had not been able to use her left arm, which was now swollen, hard and discoloured at the elbow area.

The girl pointed accusing fingers at her guardian, Bashir Shuaibu, who is from Kogi State.

But what brought Sophia to the hospital was more dire and life-threatening than just the marks on her body and the fractured arm.

The little girl has a gash that is about six inches in diametre on her buttocks. It was created by sore, said to have developed after several beatings by Shuaibu.

Sophia said each time he spanked her, her buttocks swelled up and before it healed up, he spanked her again.

She told our correspondent that her parents asked her to live with him to make a living.

She said, "We are not related. My parents asked me to live with him in Lagos so that I could work and make money to take care of myself.

"He beat me almost every day and I don't usually know what I did wron

RAPE SCANDAL: We Had mutual sex-OBESERE
Popular fuji musician, Abass Akande, better known as Obesere, has denied the rape allegation leveled against him, claiming that he and the lady had a mutual sex.

Earlier in the week, one Olanike Olaiya, a National Diploma graduate of business administration from Ibadan Polytechnic, had reported to the police that the artiste forcefully had sex with her and in the process, inserted a ring into her private part which caused her to bleed.

Speaking to Saturday Beats later in the week, Obesere admitted getting to know the lady recently but said the sexual aspect of the relationship was consensual.

"A friend of mine, Alhaja Bola Omowo introduced Nike to me barely two weeks ago. Obesere Rising, a product, is coming to Nigeria, Alhaja told me that Nike would want to be one of the marketers. From there, we became friends."

Obesere denied asking Nike to sleep over in his house as she reported in her petition.

"She spent two days in my house and she felt at home. So, how could I have raped her? Why didn't she shout while I was 'raping' her? She was the one that went to the kitchen and cooked and I ate all she prepared in those two days.

"Why would I force any lady to sleep over in my house when there are so many other ladies begging to sleep in my house? I took her as my girlfriend and a sister. I even left her at home and went out the second day. She was the one that called me while I was away that she needed to get to Ibadan."

Obsere said he was surprised when the lady called him to say she was ill.

"She said she was seeing something strange in her body. I told her to tell Alhaja that introduced her to me to take her to the hospital. She said she didn't want to do that as Alhaja might broadcast it to everybody that she slept in my house. I called Alhaja and she told me nothing was wrong with Nike. Alhaja eventually asked me if I was a 'mugu.' Alhaja was the one that told me that Nike had suggested a plan for the two of them to blackmail me of N5m to N10m.

WHERE HOMOSEXUALITY STRIVES IN LAGOS

There is no doubt that pockets of gay people in the country would be living in fear as a result of a recent law that criminalise homosexuality in Nigeria, with the possibility of 14 years imprisonment.
Aware of how dangerous this kind of curiosity could be, our correspondent went under the guise of being a model looking for where to have fun and also "organise" young men and women for his homosexual clients.

The bar, which is located next to a popular petrol station in the area, brings to mind the popular saying that the best way to hide anything is to put it in plain sight.

Dressed casually to blend with the crowd, our correspondent learnt on getting to the bar that a 24-year-old young man owns and runs the place.

Stoutly built with an average height of about five feet, the bar owner's (name withheld) feminine disposition seemed to suggest that he might be gay.

Still apprehensive about a possible raid, our correspondent asked if the place had ever been raided by the police.

"No, my shop is very safe and has not been raided before," the owner replied.

Outside the bar, left-over decorations used during the last Christmas hung on the grey double-leaf metal door outside.

To any observer, the bar is like any regular hang-out spot but visitors would immediately be conscious of the peculiarity that would suggest that this might be a gay bar.

Our correspondent learnt that on a good business day, homosexuality, prostitution and Indian hemp smoking thrive in the bar.

But during our reporter's first visit around 8pm, the pub was not full. It had just three young men who were in their early twenties in it, apart from the owner.

Two of the men seemed to be the bar owner's friends from the way they acted, and the fourth, a dark-skinned, scruffy looking man wearing dreadlocks sat by the wall, enjoying the music blaring from the only two speakers in the pub.

The squalid cubicle-size bar can only accommodate a table with about ten chairs arranged round it.

The coloured lights in the bar made it impossible to determine the colour of the interior. Even though there was no television, guests had to manage the non-stop party music. It was later learnt that those who could did what they could.......

EAGLES AND OFFICIALS RECEIVE CALABAR PLOTS OF LAND

Players and officials of the Super Eagles were overjoyed on Wednesday in Atlanta, USA as the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Aminu Maigari, handed over to them Certificates of Occupancy of plots of land promised them by the Governor of Cross River State, Senator Liyel Imoke, for their triumph at last year's Africa Cup of Nations.

Maigari said, "It is my pleasure to present to you the Certificates of Occupancy of plots of land promised you by Governor Liyel Imoke of Cross River State, a true lover and supporter of Nigeria football, for your victory at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

"Governor Imoke has once more demonstrated that he is a man of his words. He has also told me that he has something special for you all if you do Nigeria and Africa proud at the FIFA World Cup finals in Brazil. He will be there in Brazil to support you."

Imoke made the pledge when he hosted the players and officials at the Government House, Calabar, where the team had presented him with the glittering trophy. He also gave out cash rewards.

The land documents were collected from Governor Imoke and delivered to the NFF president in the US by NFF's Director of Technical, Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme.

Most of the players invited for the friendly against Mexico were part of the 23-man squad that won the Africa Cup of Nations for Nigeria for the third time last year. All the coaches and backroom staff present in Atlanta are also legitimate beneficiaries.

We kILLED 20 TERRORISTS IN BORNO---- HDQ

Troops of the Nigerian Armed Forces clashed on Wednesday with Boko Haram insurgents who attempted to launch fresh attacks on Mafa and Ajiri in Borno State.

Twenty of the insurgents were said to have been killed while some soldiers were injured during the encounters in the two communities.

The Director of Defence Information, Maj. Gen Chris Olukolade, made this known in an electronic statement on Thursday just as seven travellers were massacred by gunmen believed to be Boko Haram members at Wala 'A,' Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State.

Olukolade also said in his statement that different calibre of machine guns and improvised explosive devices were recovered from the terrorists.

He added that the troops succeeded in clearing an ambush with which the insurgents had intended to wreak havoc on the neighbouring communities.

Our correspondent learnt that some soldiers were on their way to confront the Boko Haram members at Mafa when they ran into the ambush around 8pm on Wednesday.

It was learnt that the soldiers retreated and later stormed the camps of the insurgents with reinforcement from the 7th Division of the Nigerian Army in Maiduguri.

Olukolade said many camps in Borno and Adamawa states were destroyed in the encounters between the insurgents and the troops.

He said, "Attempts by terrorists to attack Ajiri and Mafa as well as other communities on the outskirts of Maiduguri and Dikwa in Borno State towards the Cameroon borders, yesterday(Wednesday) were foiled by the security forces.

"The ambush mounted by the terrorists to enable them to unleash terror on the communities unchallenged, was also cleared by troops on reinforcement mission.

"Arms captured from the terrorists include various brands of machine guns and improvised explosive devices.

"Twenty insurgents died in the encounter, while our troops sustained varying degree of injuries.

"Also, more camps were destroyed yesterday (Wednesday) in encounters at

FG IMPOSES 2% tax on phones, computers, others.

The Federal Government has concluded arrangements to impose a two per cent tax on the values of mobile phones, computers, software, cameras, photocopiers, printing machines and CD players manufactured in the country or imported.

The order for the tax to be known as the Copyright Levy has already been gazetted by the office of the Attorney General of the Federation and the modalities for its implementation are being negotiated with the Nigeria Customs Service.

The Director-General, Nigeria Copyright Commission, Mr. Afam Ezekude, said this at a press conference on the achievements of the agency in Abuja on Thursday.

Ezekude, who was represented by the Deputy Director, Public Affairs, Mr. Aderemi Adewusi, said the new levy would be on a broad range of products capable of being used to infringe on the copyright of products and services, including computers, mobile phones and printing machines.

Generally, the levy will apply to such products whether they are imported into the country or they are manufactured within the shores of the nation.

The NCC boss said, "The Copyright Levy on Materials Order 2012 received the necessary approval from the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Mr. Mohammed Adoke, SAN.

"The levy order is applicable to all imported materials used or capable of being used to infringe copyright in a work, both imported and manufactured in the country, and it is designed to compensate the right owners for the envisaged infringement.

"It is one of the commission's ways of generating income for the government, stakeholders and the commission. This was done after due consultation with stakeholders who have expressed satisfaction and appreciation over the levy order."

Ezekude also said the agency destroyed by public burning, 722 million units of various copyright infringing products impounded between 2007 and 2011. The estimated value of the destroyed products was put at N6.5bn.

According to him, the value represents income that

Only if I leave today.....

The principal end of the existence of man in human form is most convinced as a point known as death. It takes a baby not to be born for the baby to be dead. It takes existing as a growing kid to a maturing adult before that point of death to have a feeling of living a life.
When people are made to understand that most things in life cannot really be assimilated by the human mind as fully correct, I get to picture my mind to the days when the best phrase, of a form of advice, I got from my guardians was the quote of the way I made my days as a young kid, were going to define the way my days as an adult was going to be. so if I treasured a disciplined adult life, I had to be a disciplined growing child.
The persuasive behaviour of man is ever inherent in him at most times and so can only assume the possibilities limited to the existence of man. Every man has an interest which is most likely to be contrary to the interest of the another man. Life has become what it is, I have been made to be a part of it. I know I would one day, seize to be a part of life like a couple of personal friends and family members I know that have seized to be a part of this side called life......
The title of what I write, really makes for the body of the message I encode, how was I going to express how I would feel only if I left today. What would it look like for me to seize being alive? What happens when my body shuts down? Would I be happy or sad? What next? Judgement? And when someone fails? Punishment? For how long? Forever? That is the deal? Life gets to leave you and submit you to eternity for heaven or hell. This is exactly what everyone wants to tell, doctrines have a way to really yell, so people just did not know how they fell.
If I leave today, I would not be happy I was not a bill gates of my time. Everyone would want dangote's money, yet everyone cannot get to that stage. We do not know if we are coming or going. We are just existing, a few are really living with genuine indigenous purposes. Yesterday goes, while we have today, without knowing what really happens tomorrow regardless, I think about it all the time, irrespective of the fact that I have accepted the implications of life, I just want us to see there are no complications if everyone would get what they want. Life however, prefers what really happens to what you really want, no matter how much faith and patience you exercise, what would not happen would not happen.
Make life a puzzle of happiness, show it a lot of kindness and brightness, you would find a way and break the mystery chain, you would have a reason, you call a real purpose. Check on christ, he heals. "It is well"

[From TRACE Magazine) Forbes names Dangote 23rd richest in the world]

Foremost Nigerian industrialist, Aliko Dangote, on Monday made history by becoming the first black man to break into the rank of top 25 richest people in the world. His wealth jumped to $25bn from $16.1bn in 2013, according to Forbes magazine's list of the richest people on earth.

Dangote, who was number 43 in the top 100 world billionaire list last year, moved up 20 spots to retain his position as the richest person in Africa and also number 23rd in the world.

The Chairman, Globacom, Chief Mike Adenuga, was the next Nigerian on the list with a wealth of $4.6bn to maintain the 325th position in the world.

The Executive Vice Chairman, Famfa Oil Limited and fashion icon, Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, retained her position as the world's richest black woman and the 687th in the world with a fortune of $2.5bn; while the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, BUA Group of Companies, Alhaji Abdulsamad Rabiu, was ranked 1372th in the world with $1.2bn.

The former Chairman of Microsoft Corporation, Bill Gates, is back on top after a four-year hiatus, reclaiming the title of the world's richest person from telecoms mogul, Carlos Slim Helu of Mexico, who ranked number one for the past four years.

Gates, whose fortune rose by $9bn in the past year, has held the top spot for 15 of the past 20 years.

Spanish clothing retailer, Amancio Ortega, best known for the Zara fashion chain, retains the No. 3 spot for the second year in a row, extending his lead over Warren Buffett, who is again in the fourth position.

The year's biggest dollar gainer was the Facebook's founder, Mark Zuckerberg, whose fortune jumped by $15.2bn to $28.5bn, as shares of his social network soared.

Technology, and more specifically Facebook, helped to propel numerous fortunes lately.

The company's Chief Operating Officer, Sheryl Sandberg, joins the ranks for the first time, as does the Facebook's long-time vice-president, Jeff Rothschild.

From (TRACE MAGAZINE) Sir Alex Ferguson Told United to Sell Ronaldo for 150Million Pounds

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed he told Manchester United to put a £150m price tag on Cristiano Ronaldo's head in 2009 – and believes Real Madrid would have paid it, Soccernet reports.

The Portuguese winger became the most expensive player in football history when he joined the Spanish club for 80 million pounds but Ferguson believes United could have brought in almost twice as much money.

And he is convinced Real president Florentino Perez would have paid such a staggering sum to take the current World Player of the Year to the Bernabeu and remains disappointed that former United chief executive David Gill ignored his advice.

"I told David Gill to ask for £150m. Perez would have paid," Ferguson is quoted by AS as telling the player's official digital fan magazine, CR7.

"The only thing that hurt me, and I said this repeatedly to David Gill, was that we didn't demand enough.

"I told David, 'Ask for £150m.' He said, 'Don't be silly. They'll never pay 150m.'"

Ronaldo, who joined United from Sporting Lisbon in 2003, had scored 91 goals in his final three seasons at Old Trafford when Real came calling.

He has gone on to score 238 goals in just 233 games for Real and was named the world's outstanding footballer of 2013 by FIFA.

Real have gone on to break the world transfer record again by spending a reported £85m on Gareth Bale last summer, an outlay which has left Ferguson wondering just how Real would have gone for Ronaldo.

"I believe he cost £80m or something like that," Ferguson added. "But I still keep asking myself what senor Perez would have said if we asked for £150m. Considering that they signed Gareth Bale for £85m, I believe they would have agreed to pay between 80m and 150m. I am sure, because I know that Perez knew perfectly the quality of the player he was getting, as shown by Cristiano's stats at United.

"That is the only disappointing aspect. If we had got £150m, I would have kept talking about it for the rest of my life, because it would have

Escaping the consequence of your thoughts.

Could there be a situation where the one who thinks of a thought is not reprimanded for thinking his thoughts? Is there a possibility that man truly has a control of his thoughts? Would man really be aware of the factors that influences what he regards as his thoughts? Are there factors that influence the thoughts of man. Are the thoughts of man really a thought or something bought or rather something brought. What really makes my have things he calls thoughts?
Is it a coincidence that everyone thinks something says something inside of them and they find a way of saying it was something their minds told them? Is it quite intentional that most of the things our minds tell us sEems to be a message for ourselves from ourselves? There is a less implication of the fact that whatever came into our heads came from somewhere, there is a more inclination to the theory that we have a control over our thoughts, I like the brain training, but I gotta say that control of thoughts happens to be a thing of the mind, and the mind is not something that really agrees to the most basic forms of control.
Tradition has made a lot confusing for the present man, he cannot find a way to fully say what life is really about. The thoughts of the past generation has formed a concept that the present generation has decided to continue with it. It however beats my imaginations, that people accept things just because it appears good and not really that in details it sEems to be good. I wondered what happened to the famous saying that all that glitters is not Gold. How would people believe things they are not sure about. People go as far as saying, "I don't really know, all I know is that, the book said that......" I just don't know how people work on such assumptions.....
The consequences of our thoughts while we stay here have been said to be a basis upon which judgement would follow. So I should be preaching beware of what you think, it could cost you a lot on the last day. In the adverse effect of really observing and evaluating, I would not be too far from assuming that there is really nothing for us to think, thoughts have become so diverse that everyone is in the thought of making a reverse to a point they think is a better point. The thoughts we think can make us escape, it just really depends on if you really want to escape.

What is the gain of this pain? (The cycle of life to Death)

I forget to remember that no matter how much I claim to be a street boy, because of certain behavioural acts or tendencies of mine which is due to some other level of exposure and experience. I am still known and thought of, by many as a coperate- boy, who was once a calm and calculated quiet individual within the neighbourhood, and only just had a thing for being a bold talker of talks when he was ready to talk. To some I am still that fellow that handles a church service through a programmed sermon and an intense musical and dramatic display that all glorified the gospel, to the others, I could be that person that did not really preach the gospel, but appeared too innocent to be a part of anything astray. They said I had a responsible mindset. I can assume with full support from myself that all they did then was have thoughts of themselves, because no one really was with the me, that is meant to be in me, when I was with me. They could not be sure they knew me. Nobody knows Nobody.
Religion has its doctrines, We must have been thought one or the other while undergoing the process of socialising with the society and environment, which we would always happen to find ourselves in. When the government endorses policies to make it look like things would happen easily, it takes my mind back to tuface idibia, who says," if them talk sey e easy, omo na set up" the most powerful ancient instrument of motivation has been the stick and carrot system, Rewards and punishments happens to be the programming for man to feel comfortable with. Those that put the mechanism into play, they know how far their manipulations are taking them. They want us to believe it has to be what the book says, then we have to think less of everything that pays.
Did we come to stay then find out if we burn forever or sing halleluyah forever? Beautiful concept, but I am less concerned, I got fresh dealers concepts and I want to make money before this body shuts down like when I am asleep and goes down to rot there forever. Have you not heard something about focusing on what is directly in front of you, like your dashboard. The gain of the pain down that lane took me to another way which I thought I could sway and play. I thank the power that IS for making me. Make use of the time you see now, you are not really sure of another.

Like @Yung6ix we all Need Plenty Money!!!

Happy sunday people, hope we all show ourselves the love of life irrespective of the strive. Like a bee in a hive, people think they should go to an extent to jive, I personally, have been waiting for my first million to arrive, but for me to survive, I have to think that with God I can revive any ambition, that I thought my mind did derive as a means for fresh dealers and the teams to arrive.
I know there is a measure to the extent to which every one thinks, so I really assume It is not impossible, that everyone has at some time or the other not considered the reality of having a lot of money in their possession. That paper, it serves as the only medium of exchange, they fought wars across the holy cities to make sure that legal tender was brought into existence. When I said I did not have love for money, I think I can now say I did that in pretence. Don't tell me you don't love money, and if you do. I agree, but what I would not agree to, is when you say, you treasure some other things above money. Anything you really think you want, get some money first. I know the many things money cannot buy, I know some few things it could buy too. I know I should also let you know that you need to get the few things money can get for you, before you start thinking of what money cannot get for you.
Coperatestreetboy* the me in me, must not let people think having less money is acceptable. Taking a review on the national papers in the past scores of months, and noticing the amount of money that has been said to have been dwindled in one form or the other, it keeps my mind set on the mindset of those spending such lofty sums of money. Why can we all not have this equal amount of satisfaction? I know of a church that has a university that has fees at close to half a million for each student. Is this a school that support the common man? Did the common man contribute fund to fix this church and school? Plus I also heard, another church gave every member 100 dollars on a certain day. Is that benefiting the common man? I am just asking.
Money we all need, if the government wants a good policy to alleviate poverty, here is a first of something I can bring to the government I told my sister I am coming for in the next two decades. Every one born as a human being to follow the mechanism of a world controlled by money, should get an account with a bank as soon as after birth, 10 dollars for every week. The government should make this possible. We all need good amount of money in our accounts. They don't pay us social security, they don't give us security. Who has got our security?
We all need money. I know what the book says about the love of money and the root of all evil, but I also know something about being broke and the root of all evil. @yung6ix did also say something about being broke being bored and assuming being to rich to being fun. I just know money is good. Lil wayne goes further to take the mind go further, "more money, more problems, more money, would solve them"
We all Need money!!! Get money!!! Get money!!! I tell myself, as along as you are alive, the power that IS knows Money is a COMPULSORY factor. Happy sunday!!!
