Nigeria: Release the kidnapped 234 girls

I am not yet ready to unravel the activist part of coperatestreetboy* very publicly yet, because, I know I go direct on things that I have interest in.
The condition of still being an undergraduate, makes me sceptical of the security assurance surrounding the intimacy of the way my emotions pour out.
I would not want to be a person who seems opposing to the Jonathan-led federal government, but, at this point in time, I need to say at least that I am disappointed presently.
It is not of good news that anytime I go to the bank, CNN finds a way of showing some insecurity issues happening around Nigeria.
Talking of boko haram and their terror is a story for another day. I just think it is insane and not human for 234 girls to be abducted and threatened of their lives and safety.
I was observant of the period when the "jack bauer" 24 series movie came in... I told people, Nigerians were being taught to learn more about organised crime and its global scope... The Nigerian people may not understand, but... Things are only getting worse.... We need something more realistic than prayers....

Who is the Judge to judge the judged?

Sometime in 2010 I knew someone that had finished serving a jail term that lasted well close to 15 years..... He had gone into jail at about the year I just started primary school, he had acted in a harsh manner that was against some certain sections of a highly acclaimed legally certified fundamental rules and regulations in the form of a constitution... So he had to have the life I have known for him, his past, the present.. And the future that keeps unfolding everyday.... A damage has been caused.
Someone goes through training so then, he is given a wig, after which he now has the powers that guarantee he can seat in a meeting and pronounce a judgement upon the life of another individual.... Elarh belar is an alter ego of mine who is possessed by the music gods, on a sarz free beat in 2014 there was a line "who is the judge to judge the judged? I wish I could ask my friend george"
Not being able to live life according to some set standards gives another individual the power to sentence a life... I just got thinking... How many people's destiny have landed them in prison.... There is a thought about prisons I have... I have gone to some prisons, I have read articles, I have seen video clips.... But a picture attached to the post* the Eastern Nigerian Hero Ojukwu was talking about the kirikiri prison* damn! Prison life is crazy!

Agree that We Disagree*

I cannot start to imagine how much I would have to undergo, if I made to attempt, an ability to measure in any way, the pattern that I certify, most efficient of a method which the human race could implement the policies, which could be said to be superlative enough to govern the existence of human beings in harmony and peace.
It is far by every measure and sense of reality, for an eligible being to understand that the way life being lived among nations of the world, is far from the life that is being expressed and enforced as basic life by the average human being . The UN and the veto power countries of the world may find their way to make it look like what is not real is real, really. It is of no good measure to leave a mind live in a life that was not real. It would be a good thing to make vanity worth the while before it becomes vanity again.
If we want to preach the unity we claim.... If we want to preach the morality we claim..... If we want to preach the fairness we claim... If we want to continue thinking there is a pattern that is seen as better for man to continue existing..... We must come to terms with the outstanding truth that every man is almost in disagreement with another man at almost any time as much everytime.
It is almost in the view of everyone to have a particular way which they think is better to achieve an aim. If we must find a way to agree with things, it must have been after we must have understood that the natural elements of life have created varieties of ways by which people see things... Like the biggest political party in AFRICA PDP... We Disagree to Agree.

God's Time (OGECHUKWU)

God's time is the best is a common adage used by almost everyone. How man can find himself operating with God's time is believed to be an opportunity for the happenings of man's life to be in line with God's time. It is even more believed by many, that nothing happens unless it is in God's time for it to happen.
I believe in God's time as I learned of the fact that the babies before me didn't survive.... In God's time, I replaced the twins... The banker asked me yesterday, why were you born sept 11? I didn't have an answer.. Now I do, sept 11 199* was the day I was born because it was God's time (Ogechukwu)
Time belongs to God and things would happen in his time.. Work with God's time and everything would work out in due time. Talk to God often and discuss your time intentions, he would provide the schematic of the time management schedule, then in less time, it would be your time, to beat the man of the Times Magazine....

Man has consciousness about his existence and also to a large extent, exercises a high level of choice, dependent on personal decisions..
This is very necessary to indicate that it would take a little longer for everyone to understand that we all take our decisions according to the vibe that sets us on the ride.... We take pride to stand by our decisions like a bride and I just hope we do the right things at the right time, so that at the right time, we must be found worthy of the right time...
I was told it was going to be a system of checks and balances upon every action we display here... We are going to be made to defend them there.....

Just like that song from the president of jagz Nation, jesse jags. I have decided to make a new motto towards my existence.... "Steady Going"
Yeah... Keep moving, no stopping... No parking... No waiting.. Just keeping the direction ahead... No slack time* follow your critical path till the time the job is done completely.
There is no reason we can have ultimately for why we need to be a part of this existence, but the ultimate fact is that we are here..... There is no going back... We have come, we have got to see, we need to conquer.
I see stumbling blocks and setbacks everywhere... It just feels like someone is taking it so personal a job to make sure things don't happen as you plan it... Life seems to want to take us off balance at any given time... But it is our pledge to keep the motto "steady going" intact....
We all are going to stop existing at this end* at the 25th hour... The hour that is not part of the usual 24 hours.. That new hour... That vague moment when life becomes something of the past... The hour where we must pause like we do when we sleep comes* that hour when death knocks on the door...

Am Bigger than those worries

"I aint got no worries" happens to be the words of the lyrics to a certain song done by the famous lil wayne... It would be justified if one tried to claim wezzy didn't have worries, as he was clear to state that he didn't give time to thinking about anything to call worries....
Worries happen to be issues which we have created in our heads and given them so much weight and concern that we find ourselves under its weight to the point we feel weighed down....
I recently found a new motto, am bigger than my worries... Yes, I see that it would be of better position and implication to me if I didn't worry about my worries... It would be so great if we thought less about what we want to be and take time out to appreciate things the way they are.
I am making it a point of serious concentration to better my efforts at eradicating the feeling of mediocrity which worries bring along... Its time to think of prosperity and give it a try.... Worry not about your worries, it does not change anything.

[Court stops toll collection on Ikoyi-Lekki bridge]

A Federal High Court in Lagos has stopped further collection of tolls from users of the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge.

Justice Saliu Saidu, in a judgment on Thursday, held that there was no existing law in the state conferring the power on government to generate revenue from the bridge.

The judge was delivering judgment on the suit instituted by a civil rights lawyer, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, challenging the power of Lagos State Government to collect toll on the bridge.

The suit was instituted against the Attorney General of the Federation, the National Inland Waterways Authority, the Lagos State Government and the state Attorney General.

Adegboruwa had urged the court to declare that the imposition of tolls on the users of the bridge amounted to violation of the rights of the users and residents of Lekki Scheme 1, Ikoyi, Ajah, Ibeju-Lekki and Epe communities.

In his judgment, Justice Saidu upheld Adegboruwa's contention that the power to control the Lekki Lagoon, upon which the bridge was built and other Federal Navigable Waterway lies with the Federal Government.

He said although the Federal Government had given some authority to the state to construct the bridge, there was no law authorising or permitting the collection of tolls on it.

The judge held that from his findings the bridge was built by public fund and that the bridge was not a Public-Private Partnership initiative for which the collection of toll could be allowed.

He said, "The question is, has the third respondent, the Lagos State Government, made appropriate law to enable it to collect toll on the bridge?

"The third respondent only cited Section 27, 28 and 29 of the Lagos State Public Private Partnership Law 2011 as making provision for collection of toll.

"There is nothing before me to show that the subject matter in this case was as a result of the Public Private Partnership Law.

[Army kills 11 B'Haram members, arrest 31]

The Special Forces have arrested 31 fighters of the Boko Haram Sect who were attempting to flee the country through Taraba State and Gumti in Adamawa State into Cameroon.

The Director of Defence Information, Maj.-Gen. Chris Olukolade, said in an electronic mail on Thursday that one of those arrested was a mercenary claiming to be a citizen of Chad and Burkinafaso.

Olukolade also said that 11 insurgents were also killed during shootouts with troops in the border communities.

He said that the terrorists who were involved in the encounter with the Special Forces were trapped and were forced out of their hideout by hunger.

According for the Defence spokesman, the Special Forces arrested some of the insurgents who left one of the camps in the forest took the security men to similar camps in the area.

He said that the Special Forces killed seven of the insurgents during a fierce gun battle in one of the camps.

He added that four other insurgents were killed in another battle with troops at Gombi.

Olukolade said that several categories of high calibre weapons, several Improvised Explosive Devices and over 70 motorcycles were recovered from the insurgents in the operations.

He said, "A group of terrorists attempting to escape into Cameroon through Taraba and Gumti in Adamawa State have come under heavy fire from troops on patrol of the area in the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign.

"The terrorists who had been trapped as a result of the ongoing offensive by the troops along the borders were given out when some of them could no longer bear the hunger in their make-shift camps in the forest.

"Those who were apprehended led troops to their hideouts where fierce fighting ensued.

"Seven terrorists died, while a large number of Improvised Explosive Devices and rifles were recovered including over 70 motorcycles.

"Similar encounter in Gombi also led to the death of four other terrorists."
