SOCCER FIESTA: Gov Willie Obiano Cup Enters Semi-Final Stage

The ongoing Gov Willie Obiano Cup, a twin soccer fiesta happening in Anambra State has reached the semi-final stages after many teams have been dumped out of the competition by superior counterparts.

The competition has enjoyed a massive turnout of Ndi Anambra as spectators thus making the yuletide season more fun, entertaining and uniting the various teams, their supporters and spectators.

The football tournament comprising the Traders Cup and Inter-Local Government Male and Female Categories are being hosted by the Ministry of Youth Entrepreneurship and Sports Development based on the charge of Gov Willie Obiano to "re-ignite the spirit of oneness among Ndi Anambra through soccer".

The fiesta coming at the back of the just concluded U-17 academicals which hosted all the secondary schools in Anambra State to a football tournament has entered its semi-final stages after competitive preliminary stages.

Oga Micky : Oga micky is just a Yung Rapper from the east who see's rap as a religion, i'm from imo state but I grew up in abia.. 1st of 6 kids, still 1st of the family. I'm trouble bro. Remember I told you this.

Oga Micky: My reason behind my rap mission is simple.. i'm trying to give nigeria a real taste of rap music in a language they understand.

Oga Micky: it's not been easy for me judging from the fact that i'm unsigned and all that, but i'm trying my best.. hoping that things will get better. Ain't giving up easily. I'm here to stay

Oga Micky: In few years to come i'll be a household name, it's been written. It's just going to take time but i'm a patient dog.

Oga micky: well 2016 is a big year for me personally because I have a lot of suprises for my fans, i've managed to work with some big names and all the songs will be dropping 2016. For me 2016 is that year! My breakthrough year.

Oga Micky: My worst moment so far was when I was bounced at a show because they didn't know it was me and didn't believe I was "Oga Micky" My best moment came few hours after when I killed the show, had the people screaming and set the stage ablaze.

Oga Micky: to my fans, People who believe in my music and the rap industry at large. It's cool to underrate me but the truth is that one day i'll be the biggest name from this part of the world.

My kid brother is 20. Am 22. He just proposed to his wife.

Well, I have a younger step sister who is a half cast. A step mum who is greek. My dad who is Abia in Nigeria, Mum who is from Anambra in Nigeria. 2 brothers from Abia.

Nnamdi is my elder brother... He is 26..

In one year, i got all of these, (@dp) A lot of People are surprised how it happened, I have been called a lot of things. "Fastest raising", "New Face of comedy," "the game changer", "most wanted", "most sought after". some people even said I use "juju" but I really don't care. One thing i know is I wouldn't have been able to do this on my own if not for God who has been on my side. To every one who has supported me, I wanna say thank you. The much accepted mechanism upon which the nomination process of Anambra exclusive youth choice awards 2015 orchestrated the nominations of through the various categories enabled the public to freely nominate youths who proved to have performance and competence by sending their name, category, phone number, photo and a little Bio about them.

The free nominations were flagged off through social media platforms and it made close to 2000 entries to be made across all categories, making certain categories have almost up to 15 nominees.

I think Prince Neche Drinks A lot

Well, I don't know where this is coming from.. But I know what it means.

It has been identified by the mental capacity inherent in me that an individual who is well known in the comedy industry of the south east Nigeria "prince Neche" is someone who is in love with the art of drinking...

Yeah, he drinks a lot.. And to make it worse, he doesn't drink water a lot, he drinks liquids configured with specifics engineered at intoxicating the blood line.

He drinks combinations that prove to have a high level of alcohol... His indulgence in this act may or may not be as a result of having to make people laugh all the time...

Maybe I could be gossiping aloud, but I think he could be more funny on stage after he has loosened the nuts of his brain. Being a psychologist as my tatafo ears heard, Prince Neche seems to be fully aware of the gimmicks he plays with people's minds.

Being a lover of drinks and comedy, he surely knows how to make people laugh.

On friday, 5th december 2014 at origin hotels, the first edition of AEYCA was hosted. Citizens with hard working efforts in Media, business, Entertainment, Activism, lifestyle, religion, Education e.t.c were awarded.
After the first edition, it became apparent that the community treasured such a gathering as there was mass gathering of both youths and Elderly citizens in jubilation and celebration of good deeds. Details of the event are attached to the internet.
In August, 2015. The process of the 2nd edition of AEYCA began with the usual free nomination which makes it possible for any hard working citizen to be recognized for their achievements. The process has proved successful so far, as Hundreds of Entries have been made.
Anambra Exclusive Youth Choice Awards 2015 will be hosted on friday, december 4th 2015 at marble arch event centre... Come and Be A part of Greatness, As the Anambra State Government, Media Agencies within the state and the Youths in General Anticipate to observe the Mass Applause and Recognition inherent from this event.

Throw Back: Confessing confessions of confusion

Many things must happen while a human exists. Until man stops being, that which he knows, keeps getting better and refined.
There are varieties of impressions created on the mind of man while he still continues to be.
The different actions and reactions which accompany the prospect of being in time* every time places a lot of what man can decide to reminisce over any time he finds himself walking through memory lane.
365 days multiplied by 20times gives me an appropriate of over 7000 days I have had to see and involve in different things.
Meeting a lot of people due to civil obligations and most domestic social groupings, it is apparent that a lot has been visible as the outcome of activities going on among the people and events happening in one thing I have known to call my LIFE.
Having my own definition of many other things, I have also understood I have a reason to understand why people may not see things the way I do. It encompassed a lot of ill feelings before I figured out the degree of politics which is always played among interests of humans and it being a happening that must happen regardless.
When expectations don't come out as intended, it is not known to many but thee who says how it becomes, it has to become. It even doesn't appeal so much to many anymore, values they once held to be sacred.
Paradoxical abstracts are not facts to prove one is straight, yet that is the measure those that claim they are straight take.
It would rather be expendable if an umbrella covering the interests of everyone can evolve. If man could erect a memorandum of understanding, noting our difference could only unite us when we agree.

Since I have been this being who since was born over the past 20 years and a little more, I have been that guy with tendencies very drifting and dynamic to myself.

Having become an observer of life, with the environment I grew up in. All the variables of life had proved to create one big fixed equation for me.

"Life always changes"

I have always tried to set a pace that dictates the order of present times but it hasn't been the finest of gradations ever.

The more I adjust, the more life expands.

I just had to understand one thing

It isn't what we want from life that always matters, what life wants from us matters a lot.

I started using this formulae and things changed.

It wasn't what I wanted it to be. Life became what it had to be

That's the lesson I learned.

STAGES OF DECEPTION BY Anonymous*

Hello friends, i think this is a great piece that does a great deal of justice to the current moral quagmire our world has gotten herself into.. (The Six stages of deception)
Deception is a process by which wrong becomes right, and right becomes wrong. It's a complete paradigm shift of opinions, standards and morals that is achieved softly, subtly and often takes a generation to entrench into society. If you want to know what I am talking about, find out your mother's views on things like sexuality and marriage and compare them with yours. The contrast in opinions does not necessarily prove that she is old and antiquated; it may instead prove that you have been deceived.
There are six stages of deception.
● The shocker
● The outrage
● The discussion
● Tolerance
● Acceptance
● Veneration
If I wanted to popularize the most unimaginable thing in our society, say like bestiality (the practice of having sex with animals), I would follow these steps.
I would select a forerunner to drop the shocking message on an unsuspecting public. "We should start having sex with animals," he would announce on radio, TV or in a newspaper. That is the shocker; the bombshell, so to speak. It would inevitably be followed by outrage. The forerunner is abused and demonized by the bewildered public. Every respected leader in society comes out to slam the lamentable reprobate who dared suggest something so obnoxious.
The forerunner defiantly defends the practice. His critics come out even more scathing. But the forerunner knows exactly what he is doing. He is setting an agenda. Many people don't understand the effect of continuous exposure on the human mind.
I will give an example most of you will understand. If you ask a girl out and she is not interested in you, the best thing she can do for herself is stay away from you or your words. If she continues listening to you, what was initially unthinkable becomes worth a consideration, then acceptable. Many ladies have fallen for guys they swore never to date just because they didn't understand the law of continuous exposure.
Once the bestiality message reaches the third stage; discussion, the forerunner has done his job. At this stage there is a big debate over bestiality; with most people still slamming it, not knowing that they are falling into a trap.
I know for a fact that homosexual groups abroad were giving money to people fighting homosexuality in Uganda. Then they would also fund those pushing for it. Initially it didn't make sense. Until I learnt how deception works. What they wanted was to keep the subject of homosexuality in public debate. They know exactly what they were doing. The more people are exposed to it through discussion, the more it becomes less obnoxious in their minds.          That leads to the next stage: Tolerance. At this stage people say: "I am not going to have sex with animals, but if someone chooses to do it, shauri yake (that's his problem). Others will say: "Who cares what people do behind closed doors?"I have heard these statements being made by people who clearly don't understand what they are up against. This is the stage at which science kicks in to 'prove' that some people are born with an inherent attraction towards animals and they cannot help themselves. Consequently, bestiality is included in the UN Human Rights Charter and activists are given a new pursuit. Economic and travel sanctions are used to twist the arms of nations that still forbid it. Then we start hearing phrases like: "We cannot tell people whom they should love." The main purpose of this stage is to ensure that bestiality is legally accepted.
The next two steps are aimed at entrenching it at a social level.
The penultimate stage is Acceptance. At this stage bestiality becomes a conventional alternative way of living. All the outrage has since dissipated. This is the stage at which those still opposed to it are called bestiaphobic (the word will be coined) and they are considered antiquated, old-fashioned, intolerant, dogmatic, religious zealots, bigots…. you've heard all those words. This is the stage at which there are bestiality rights parades in major cities. Then we are reminded that the same Holy Books that forbids bestiality also forbids eating pork, fornication, drinking etc. Then 'intellectuals' think, and use that to rubbish the Word of God, and make it look ridiculous.
The final step is Veneration. This is the stage at which the people who practice bestiality are praised. The liberalist media (which includes almost all international channels) subtly promotes them as 'cool', intelligent, exposed. That's the stage at which celebrities 'come out' to reveal that they are 'proud bestialists'. Then bestiality begins to win fresh 'converts' everyday because many young people will do anything to be seen as 'cool' or to be associated with some Hollywood or football star. That is how you corrupt a whole society.
That's how previously unthinkable things like atheism and homosexuality and all other forms of sexual perversion have taken root in our society.
Unfortunately, in Uganda, homosexuality has reached Stage four (Tolerance). But in the West, it has gotten to the veneration stage. You have probably heard of the black homo American footballer who "made history by becoming the first footballer to come out". What's historical about someone proclaiming their perversion? So many other people are being lauded in the media for no other reason other than their homosexuality. Your mother may not be outdated after all. You may be deceived.

I won't stop writing

Writing has been an ability everyone can learn from childhood.

The basic education makes writing a technique that most humans acquire well before the age of 8.

I started writing words I could spell on my own around the age of 5.

so as long as putting words together was the mission, I continued embarking on it as often as possible...

When I had thoughts that needed expressions, I used words to transmit my emotions to whoever could be a recipient. Most times, at the early stages of my writing, I was the recipient. I wrote a lot of things down, I loved to see the meanings and interpretations that came from the forming of words...

From Age 6 to Age 15.. I was already too neck deep into writing. I would easily pick a biro and a piece of paper. Thoughts were easily changed to words..

The end result was perfect. People easily got the expressions and pictures I tried to portray. I was happy. Writing was a skill I had, I was using it very well.

By Age 19, I was in the university.. I had more reasons to continue writing...I wrote for editorials on bill boards, wrote for magazines and newspapers, created write ups for columns on blogs and websites.. I even wrote a book that was well documented and planned for, unlike the little stories I wrote when I was younger, they never made it past the 40 Leaves Exercise book I used in writing...


Long story cut short. I have been writing and I will continue writing. Writing is a blessing. If the bible wasn't written, what will you read?
