I had the opportunity to be granted an online interview with "a very known under the ground now seen" rapper
Known as @Blaqbonez. Ask google more about him later .. Find out first hand, about a couple of things...
Corporate-Street-Boy: Please give us a brief back ground check on BLAQBONEZ, maybe we could know you more personally with this..
@BLAQBONEZ Yo, I'm Blaqbonez, future of the rap game (by faith), Oau blacksheep, put together a modafucka 😀
Corporate-Street-Boy: When and how did you start your rap game?
@BLAQBONEZ: 2010 i think, i was supposed to be studying for Jamb, and i had this cousin that played me a certain 14 year old Rapper named Lil H, i got inspired somehow, and i have been rapping since
Corporate-Street-Boy: Can you remember your first recorded song?
@Blaqbonez Cover of Ice prince oleku, incurred damages to the studio i used, so the total bills drowned me. I never did anything with the song, i don't even know where that song is anymore
Corporate-Street-Boy: How many songs have you recorded alone?
@Blaqbonez: Omo i no know o, some people have over 100 of my songs, I'm guessing i have maybe 200 or so, I'v released too many, i guess
Corporate-Street-Boy: How many songs have you been featured on?
@Blaqbonez: so many ...
Corporate-Street-Boy: You seemed to have made music projects in compilations? As regards Eps, Mixtapes and all that... Can you hint us on them?
@Blaqbonez I love making new music, so embarking on projects is always fun, the rush that comes with people waiting for a tape is priceless, makes me wanna go again.
Corporate-Street-Boy: I have been a follower of your game, you seemed to have done a lot back in Ile-Ife, would you still call there your fan base home? And where do you think you have the largest number of fans right now?
@Blaqbonez: Is there o, oau na my people forever, dem dey fuck up sometimes, me sef dey over fuck up, but that's my home basically.
Corporate-Street-Boy: I also know, you were a good "diss man" if you ever got angry with something, the booth settled the quarrel, all the disses you made in the booth , are they still lingering in reality? (With the persons?)
@Blaqbonez: Not really, before i started Rapping, i was on a Facebook group where rappers battle, you diss the guy today - people laugh it off and y'all back to normal tomorrow. That's sorta the mindset i used to make diss songs from, till reality hit, these people don't think like me, it actually hurts, and there are several ripple effects, so i stopped.
Corporate-Street-Boy: What can be said to be your best and worst moments so far?
@Blaqbonez: This a question I'd be able to answer when I'm big, cos I'm hardly above water, its almost like my best aint even that far from my worst, though the Hennessey artistry was a fun time.
Corporate-Street-Boy: BlaqBonez Is becoming A HouseHold Name in the nigerian Music Industry, How did this happen over the years?
@Blaqbonez: Blaqbonez is not a household name yet biko, (laughs) I am still working on that, I'd let you know when it is, regardless we are grateful for how far the name has spread.
Corporate-Street-Boy: It is 2016, I know you have been talking about "power moves only" and with your current project CTAT which is viral and the Henessy cypher which is of top class.. You really seem to be in power. What do we expect next?
@Blaqbonez: Mainstream music, A music video this first quarter, more push and stuff.....
Corporate-Street-Boy: As one who has been privileged to follow your music movement well, you have had shows with the A-List Guys in the same Arena with you, With their Body Language and probably verbal language, tell me their reactions with the way you are penetrating the Main Stream?
@Blaqbonez: There's almost no reactions, at shows they see you but don't really see you, for them they are there to just work, do what they have to and they are out, except @Vectorthaviper though, he always has some advice up his sleeves, Great guy.
Corporate-Street-Boy: It is also not yet public news, the platform or even Team which has been behind the coordination of your career lately.. Would you please tell us the secret? Let's know these people and be grateful to them..
@Blaqbonez: Oto, Ayo jaguda basically, the goons. More information would come at a later time
Corporate-Street-Boy: Who are your best friends in the industry right now?
@Blaqbonez: Best friends is a funny term, but I'v got a few hommies, Ola dips. Chinko, ycee, Vector, milli and them Oaps. It's necessary to know some people and be friends with them
Corporate-Street-Boy: Do you think you have enemies in the industry now?
@Blaqbonez: Yes
Corporate-Street-Boy: Does blaqbonez have an official first lady? Please let's be the first to know..
@Blaqbonez: Nope
Corporate-Street-Boy: If you could do something to change the Nigerian Music industry, what will it be?
@Blaqbonez: Put Blaqbonez up there among the Elite, and see how it goes from there. Promote more hiphop anyways, its what we all tryna do
Corporate-Street-Boy: The Song "Who" blasts heavily on my playlist... I like the vibe and intel, what inspired that Hit Song?
@Blaqbonez: Errrr, the anticipation for the tape wasn't exactly where i wanted it to be, so i knew the next song out had to be some hard ass, wtf was he doing type of song, so i put my mind to that, and it was good
Corporate-Street-Boy: Lots of Rappers, on the internet and the streets of Nigeria look up to you with or without you knowing... How ready are you to become a mentor to these people?
@Blaqbonez: Omo i dunno o, its not easy to have people from different school of thought like you. It's hard sometimes to communicate properly, i hope the music can speak to all
Corporate-Street-Boy: Having come this far, what can I tell the world for them to consider as BLAQBONE's "latest line of thought"
@Blaqbonez: Make that fucking money
Corporate-Street-Boy: Thanks for your time.
