The Greatness In self control

What self control actually means- the ability to control yourself. To be in control of yourself. To be control of yourself. To lead yourself. To be in charge of yourself. To direct yourself.


Self control is like discipline. You do only that which you are supposed to do.

People have control over themselves for the wrong reasons and that's not the kind of self control am referring to.

When I talk of self control , I talk of people that control themselves in the right way. People that can make themselves do only what they "themselves want for themselves"

Self control is a virtue , am learning it. Because lately I do things I don't want to do even when I do them. Or rather, I do things that I want to do even when I would wish not to do them.

This means I do things that I say I don't want to do. Yet, I don't control myself from doing those things. I let myself do another thing. There, I lose control of myself. Something else takes control and that's not myself.

We all need the right kind of self control.

What do you think of your existence?

Do you for once imagine the whole earth with the 7 billion of us humans, roaming about doing one thing or the other. The necessary and unnecessary, good and bad, conscious and unconscious. The things we all are engaged in , in the name of being human beings on earth.

Just pause and think about it.

How do we reflect upon our existence

Is it about being born , go to schools, get old and marry? The church , family ,friends, constitution and?

What is the real reason for our existence?

Do we know? We should ponder on this...

We are here on earth, with time and space holding us bound for the time being, we wake up, move around and sleep with little or no thoughts about having to be in this existence, failing to seek the real intent and expectation of our existence

I wish every creature realizes what the creator expects of it, as a part of creation

Throw back: Be less selfish

I know no one really hates themselves as much as not doing for themselves what they would do easily for another.

Most people would prefer to do for themselves before doing for another, yet I can't fully blame them, no I would not. We seem to all love ourselves. "Self" is "selfish" my mum would say

Yet, this art of being selfish is a killer. It reduces the frequency of happiness in the air. If people think more about, why do it for him or her, why must it be for him or her??? Why not for myself? If it was my own, I would have known what to do, but it isn't, so I can't kill myself.

The list continues, the impact of the feeling which transmits to us that if it isn't for us, it isn't worth it. That thought that if it is for another, we should not engage. It is an issue we are barely able to take care of. A lot needs to be done to make sure that we understand "what we can do for ourselves, we should be able to do for another"

I know a popular saying "Do unto yourself, what you want to be done unto you"

We must not only do for ourselves. We should do for others.

My friend told me "we are living in the future"

He owns a music studio, we had known since 2011, I came around their studio often , a couple of recordings and free style sessions, my rap skills were nurtured around this studio and time, we all wanted the money, good music, fame and power of course. But by 2012. School took me, I was less in the studio, he has been there, makes money off people's recordings and stuff. Yeah, its working for him.

He wants me managing the place and we are talking business and all, I would be a rapper in his studio full time now.

But here is the important part. He said we are living in the future elarh, x-busta has been signed by 5 star, we are in this for the money, its paying. We are in the future already, 2016 isn't 2012. Then I realized, time had passed. We were said to be the future, which means we are the future!

Damn, things were happening too fast. The ambition was coming to pass. Thanks to God.

Ask and you shall receive

I may not be able to express how much I know I believe in this saying "ask and you shall receive" but like most people, things that happen within and around us often influence our way of thinking to a large extent. Its called human perception "how we perceive our environment"

as early as age 6, I was a scholar of the bible , I read the bible and I saw it in there too. Preachers have preached, a couple of books have said and certain scenarios have proved right.

Ask and you shall receive

Receiving hereby is not guaranteed if you do not ask. It is this simple. Believe it.

You need to call on something to get a reply. You talk to say words. Words wouldn't be heard if they are not said, so you talk. To receive, ask.

This is where I fail, I don't ask well, so I won't receive well. Most times I don't ask, so I won't receive.

Practically, I wrote this to myself just like some of the posts hidden in this blog.

Thanks for telling me. I would ask, then, I would receive.

Dark moments

The times we don't operate in a friendly manner, when we let the virus get a hold of us. Those moments when we can simply tell ourselves that we are not on positive vibes, the negative has taken over. It is as simple as accepting or rejecting a phone call.

Through our feelings, desires and contemplation, we are shadowed over darkness, we perceive it and beckon on it. It is usually that we know when the signal of darkness actually calls on us, we know even within seconds if to say yes or no to these vibrations. Most of the time we say "yes" we then become influenced and induced by currents that mitigate nothing but evil doings, which are intended to be on the negative energy source.

Dark moments come to kill our shine and we have the strength to overcome these dark moments. It is up to us to be vigilant, and stick to the right energy, the positive one, the one that hates darkness, appreciates the light and does everything to avoid dark moments

Avoid dark moments, they ruin.

Increasing consistency

The act of being lazy revolves around not wanting to engage in any active-activity. The feeling that prompts withdrawing from engaging, it encourages stand still scenarios. laziness becomes an ability to eliminate the act of working, it becomes the lull nature which keeps one away from being involved, it promotes the feeling of comfort, relaxation and idleness in a way that is not productive.
Laziness is a disease that has ravaged many minds today, consistency only comes from constant activity. Constant activity cannot come into play when laziness is in play. Consistency requires a continuous working, a die hard attitude forging to get the work done, assembling all resources and measures to keep production going. Laziness is the killer of consistency. Find a way to be consistent.
