Low quality does not make you better, it reduces the capabilities you are expected of. The world in general needs mediocrity to decline so that the poverty rate could also decline.
There should be no moments where you voluntarily agree to subdue yourself to activity that doesn't show excellence. Where something can be better than the best in less than a minute, what are you doing with that inferior act.
It is in us to make or mar ourselves. Mediocrity would only reduce our effectiveness. It should have no room in our lives.
