The Greatness In self control

What self control actually means- the ability to control yourself. To be in control of yourself. To be control of yourself. To lead yourself. To be in charge of yourself. To direct yourself.


Self control is like discipline. You do only that which you are supposed to do.

People have control over themselves for the wrong reasons and that's not the kind of self control am referring to.

When I talk of self control , I talk of people that control themselves in the right way. People that can make themselves do only what they "themselves want for themselves"

Self control is a virtue , am learning it. Because lately I do things I don't want to do even when I do them. Or rather, I do things that I want to do even when I would wish not to do them.

This means I do things that I say I don't want to do. Yet, I don't control myself from doing those things. I let myself do another thing. There, I lose control of myself. Something else takes control and that's not myself.

We all need the right kind of self control.
