I'm pleased to give you my 4th Poem as rendered at the Awka Literary Society's "Open Mic" Session held yesterday at Awka...
"You in my dream
Playing with me, running around a certain garden...
...with beautiful green lawn, side flowers amidst a soft tune.
You were so soft, warm and happy...
You talked more, I just listened...
You taught me some dance steps too
You were glowing...
With flowing gown... my eyes scanning through your being
We danced to soft music...
...Hands together, feet moving in unison,
Facing each other…
… with my eyes on your eye balls
I wish we can go back...
Sometimes, our feet were above the ground
We needed nothing, missed none and lacked nothing
With soft voice, you kept me speechless...
Your smile piercing through my being...
Healing my heart defects and mending my emotions
You whispered something...
Yea, with voice so soft... Yes, so sweet!
I bent to hear you... you stretched to help!
As if we were closing up for a kiss and....
