To many, he is the Former SUG PRO of Unizik, others just know his fits and his achievements, many others Know he is a political juggernaut as far as unizik is concerned. The fact that he is a King Maker is not hidden, but the part of him that is not known is what I want to talk about.
A FOOTBALLER... The Honourable (as I fondly call him) is a very good footballer and many may not know. Currently the second highest goal scorer in the prestigious DIAMOND LEAGUE with four goals. There you surprised? Yes he is that good. When he plays for or with you, then your sure to enjoy the game.
A COACH.... Believe it or not Obiora is also a football coach. I remember when he coached me to play the Perm site league, I felt I was training to play for the flying eagles, his knowledge of the game is overwhelming. Obi would wake by 5am and blow whistle for our early morning road work. His training pattern was quite different from what I was used to. I can't forget his catchy phrases "USE THE FLANK" and "THAT'S NOT WHY WE'RE HERE" We went on to reach the semi finals of the league where we lost out on penalties.
A WRITER... Madiba is one of the prolific writers I know. Though he doesn't write all the time, but when he does, be rest assured that your in for a ride.
On this day 2nd February 2015 I celebrate this Rare Gem, A selfless man, and a gift to humanity.
