Open letter to @MI_Abaga

Dear Mr incredible,
I hope you are incredibly doing fine... I know you are not just a man on the chair but really a chairman. A man that seats on a chair and makes things happen, with men moving chairs to bring cheers to the man on the chair who is the real chairman. The Chairman I am very pleased to say CoperateStreetBoy* a part of the me in me, has finally gained the courage to try and talk to the chairman even if it is just by the typed words of my notepad. The emergence of your music in the consciousness of my mind is not something I can truly remember the origin. At a time in my life, I had thought I heard of @MI_Abaga firstly, when I had heard the save track in that shop we called "Aganawa" at the back of F.G.C okigwe (where we ate 2 small fufu and egusi soup for 60 naira) but something says I heard some different song from MI abaga though I can't place which one really. I had at that point noticed the coming of the Hip-Hop messiah of the Nigerian industry. I could understand the impression that was being exhibited in the lyrical exposure which you imposed on your songs.
In 2008 we were made to listen to your first album whether we liked it or not because the whole neighbourhood just seemed to have your music playing in their houses at one time or the other. Crowd Mentality took me unawares, I could still remember listening to Anoti and fast money fast cars in that my neighbour's car. Kai* Mr incredible you were bringing the real hip hop to the naija scene. The short black boy to the best of my knowledge commercialised the rap game in Nigeria. You came to the reality of nigerians at a time that no one had made the rap game something that anyone could listen to. It would be ill manner ed of anyone not to attain you to the heights of africa's jay Z. I remember when I heard the mogbono feli feli remix u did on that dbanj tune. I was happy you were as good as you were but still appeared humble in your words.
By the time illegal music 1 was released in 2009, I didn't really know, I only figured you had more songs people liked that were not really on the first album. Mr chairman! You appeared like a well baked cake in the mouths of Nigerians. They were beginning to understand that irrespective of your intelligent mindset as regards someone who had done some higher institutional education abroad, you could still make music that the lay man on the street would understand still carrying a message of wisdom. "I am in Love with my baby, the song that said something about she being the reason why heaven made you* was another song that made me go *wow* on you. I personally was pleased with the classical musical rap which you often exhibited on your mix tape track, I was going to be damned if I knew the package you had for illegal music 2 in 2012. Short black boy, you may appear short in their sight by physique but you appear huge and mighty in my psychic.
I may have to add here that I have written a couple of letters to people since my existence as a writer, but, never did I ever write a letter for up to a week without being able to finish it. Talking to you in this manner seems like something I should do with caution because I would never want to make a failed attempt in not telling you everything I wished I could tell you since over the years. I got into the university in 2010, a friend had bought the album online, I bet he made the list of the first 30,000 copies sold within the first 30 minutes of the release of the album online. My first semester as a fresher with my paddy @blaze_902 who had gotten the virus of loving @MI_Abaga since he appeared like him in stature and often got the compliments of looking like MI whenever we rapped your songs in open places with friends and passer bys. Glo rock and Roll 2010 in awka* there and then, you revealed yourself physically to me for the first time, you can bet we were part of the reason there had to be a barricade before the stage. We had our hands on the barricade, only if we could tear it down with our rage, it was such a spectacular moment for us as I got to witness a breakdown of your songs in front of you. I felt it was such a great moment for me, I had seen the reason the Gyang family and Mr Audu had to make you the first fruit of the chocolate city. African rapper number one gave kelechukwu the diss of the century, whether na one naira became a song that even, my then aged 80 year old grand man liked whenever it played on radio. The whole album was just a bomb to the african industry. Critics tried to make so much fuse of your commercial intentions to flow with the populace, in an attempt to ridicule your rap technique ability and skills as regards acclaimed international standards, While your music was selling on the streets through your album, you started jumping on tracks as a rapper to make the song a Hit song. In the new age, you were the first of the kind, when the others could do what they could do, you seemed to be the trained and nurtured messiah that was going to be sent to bring the modern hip hop knowledge in vast provision of intellect and experience ready for the smart and dull man in human form. Mr incredible, the incredible thing you did was make rap something that Nigerians and africans could listen to attentively. You brought more chocolate to the city with 1 million copies of your album on sale. I remember the song with Sound Sultan talking about lighting up Nigeria* we don't die we multiply remix, another song with Lami and that with timaya and 2face* "if nobody talk about you was some other intriguing track* I knew you didn't have the ambition to relent for any reason. Life ana aga aga with timaya sha! You were something else!!! For more than 3 years you were just so ever blazing!!! I had under stood what you meant literally when you said you throned* yourself. Indeed, you were the King of the rap game.
At a time when anyone who is said to be a rapper in high standards had to be rated above MI if there was going to be another best. It was just so unfortunate that though, through illegal music 2 and other collaborations the emergence of many skillful rapper surfaced, no one was still able to be rated above @MI_Abaga . I figured something about the 30 summer awards, you have really conquered Mr chairman. Making money was the primary goal, then you made it. Schooling rappers became the secondary goal and you have been doing it. Luppy records is a testimony of how many people have gotten blessings from you to see the limelight. I cannot start to mention how many people your talent has blessed because I know in the unstoppable track you mentioned a lot of people that helped you through. With the Album Chairman coming soon, the world can just do nothing but wait to see what you have to off load. I personally would still be waiting too. In as much as I thought I could still tell you more things I wish to say, something says am already typing into the excess of the provided space of my note pad. I just cannot say I would not mention that many rappers and entertainers in the industry today who think they already got international recognition also know you are an influence to their successful story. I am just hoping one day like this and another day, you would a reason for my story.
An international award winning artiste tagged himself as an "@MI_Abaga recruit. My case closed there. I did not have to convince anyone more that you still remain at the throne of africa's hip hop game just like jay seats on the throne over there. The collaborations THE CHAIRMAN album would have though!!! Or the lyrical mystery which you would unleash on illegal music 3. A lot is still going to be seen from the senior brother of the Rap god. Only God knows the power the senior brother of the rap god would have. Mr Incredible, coperatestreetboy* just wished to say you have been one of the best things that ever happened to the african rap game at a time! The awards on your shelf, speak for you. If they cannot see your shelf, they should check the web shelf* in as much as I cannot tell the world the full story of @MI_Abaga I know that the son of the evangelist who turned a microphone vandal ist as at this point made me some kind of analyst or journalist. I had to make it top on my wish list for the past 168 hours of the week's list to make sure I had spoken to @MI_Abaga in an open way that would make them know you are the open way to greatness for that skilled Nigerian youth. The world has endorsed you through major affliations in the past, but I was more happy to know you are the Ambassador of energy to lagos state government. Mr incredible to stop talking too much, I could just conclude by saying on this day, 14 the Feb 2014. I Love you because you are incredibly incredible in a very credible way* Illegal music 4* No Mason* Akon's record is lonely, Mr chairman, by the time you are done, who be dangote??? Have fun sir! Till if I ever get the privilege to meet with you. I am Honoured to have existed during your existence.
